We are seeking a highly motivated, team oriented veterinarian with a passion for sports medicine - both its diagnosis and Western and Eastern treatment modalities - as well as a strong interest in preventative medicine with a full service hospital backing up the associate. A keen eye for lameness and good people skills are essential.

We are a unique practice to work for! Our associate works 4 days a week, which allows for a great work/life balance, with one weekend a month night/weekend emergency duties. Veterinary assistants are available to make your calls easier and more productive. We also have an office support staff, so no late nights doing paperwork! Our practice and office staff processes all of the billing, payments, insurance forms, health papers, and reference lab submissions. They also handle scheduling and billing inquiries, so you can spend less time on the phone and more time practicing medicine. We utilize a cloud based practice management program, so you always have access to medical records, client info, etc.

We use the latest diagnostic equipment - digital x-ray and digital ultrasound, fiberoptic endoscopy and gastroscopy. Our spectrum of treatments for our sport medicine clients include ESWT, Prostride, PRP, Alpha2, and BMACs. We welcome all Eastern Medicine based (osteopathic, acupuncture, and chiropractice) modalities. We also have in-house lab equipment for rapid turnarounds on CBC, Chemistry, fecal, SAA, Progesterone, IgGs, Triglycerides and other advanced diagnostic testing including a culture lab.

Our clients are diverse from all aspects of equine backgrounds with every possible breed and discipline represented.

Our practice is very collaborative and we enjoy sharing cases, radiographs, ultrasounds, etc.

The Equine Clinic of Saratoga is a 2 doctor hospital and ambulatory practice in the beautiful Upstate New York town of Saratoga Springs with its wealth of equine history and rich diversity of horse disciplines. Saratoga Springs is known for its world class racetrack and its premier horse racing meet in the summer, but has actually a lot more to offer than just TB racing. Saratoga Springs provides a community living driven by its nationally recognized colleges and opportunities for families and professionals. Nearby Albany (the Capital of New York) offers a rich cultural experience with it Operas, Theaters, and Museums. We are 3 hours from Montreal, New York City and Boston and have the Adirondacks (the largest National Park in the US) in our backyard.
