Who Are Operators in Share Market?Stock operators are traders, investors, or participants in the stock market who trade intending to manipulate the stock price by increasing stock volume. When they increase the stock volume in the stock market through trading in a circle and increasing the stock’s price, the stock prices continue to rise. When general investors see this upside boost in stock prices, they purchase them hoping to make short-term profits. The stock operators sell their stocks to general investors, which often causes a fall in stock prices. when panic rushes, the stock price decreases and investors wish to sell their purchased holdings in the market. As a result, stock manipulators make significant profits by buying the stocks again at the lowest price. In most cases, the stock operators target small-cap and penny stocks because these are easy to manipulate and generate profits from trade.*Order Book Strategic*The order book records the continuous orders put by the investors for particular stocks. It shows the number of stocks bought or sold at various prices. Currently, the order book shows the records of stocks that can be bought or sold at a price in digital format and are accessible to each of the traders involved in stock market trading. However, the stock operators may carry more information than is available in the order book. This is where the retail investor may be unaware of the total number of orders against the buy and sell quantities of the selected stocks as the retail traders can only the five to twenty price points at a time. Although, if they can access more data, they can easily determine if stock prices are manipulated by stock manipulators. As they are unaware of the additional information, they might be unable to determine that all buyers and sellers are genuine. As a result, they participate in trade and bear more risk than the operators.*Day Trading Strategic*In day trading, the trader makes a profit from buying and selling the stock on the same day and earns a different amount as profit. Even if the trader does not square off their position, they automatically get closed by the selected stock broker. During a volatile stock market. For example, if the stock operator sells most of his holdings intraday, then the prices of the shares will start lowering in the middle of the day compared to when they were sold before. It will cause panic among regular investors, and they will also begin selling their stocks to avoid further losses, which may again lower the prices of the stocks. At the same time, the operator will buy back those shares using theiralgo trading softwareat a much lower price. This way, stock manipulators can make a significant profit if the stock prices rise again before closing the stock market. However, this type of trading activity is hard to interpret; therefore, operators use algo trading software and many credible resources to significantly frame their trading strategy and profit.

In this post, let us understand what all factors influence the price of the option: The price of an option is influenced by several factors, including 📑 1) Underlying asset price: The price of the underlying asset, such as a stock or commodity, is one of the most significant factors impacting the price of an option. For call options, as the underlying asset price increases, the value of the option typically increases as well. Conversely, for put options, as the underlying asset price decreases, the value of the option generally increases. 🎯 🎯 2) Strike price: The strike price is the predetermined price at which the underlying asset can be bought or sold, depending on the type of option. The relationship between the strike price and the current price of the underlying asset affects the value of the option. In general, for call options, a lower strike price relative to the underlying asset price increases the option's value, while for put options, a higher strike price relative to the underlying asset price increases the option's value. 😄 😄 3) Time to expiration: The time remaining until the option's expiration date has a significant impact on its price. As the expiration date approaches, the value of the option may decrease due to time decay. Options with more time to expiration tend to have higher values because there is more time for the underlying asset price to move in a favorable direction.🎯 🎯 4) Volatility: Volatility refers to the degree of price fluctuations in the underlying asset. Higher volatility generally leads to higher option prices because there is an increased probability of the option ending up in-the-money. Option traders often look at implied volatility, which is an estimation of future volatility based on the option's current market price.5) Interest rates: Changes in interest rates can affect the price of options, although the impact is typically more pronounced for longer-term options. Higher interest rates can increase the cost of carrying the underlying asset, resulting in a higher cost for options. 😄 😄6) Dividends: For options on stocks, dividends can impact option prices. Generally, when a stock goes ex-dividend (i.e., the dividend is paid to shareholders), the stock price decreases, which can influence the option price. Call options may become less valuable, while put options may become more valuable due to the expected decrease in stock price. 🎯 🎯 7) Market sentiment: General market sentiment, including investor perceptions, expectations, and overall market conditions, can also influence option prices. Positive news or events can lead to increased option prices, while negative news or events can cause prices to decline. 😄 😄PS: Follow QFE University (Quantitative Financial Engineering) for such interesting content.#financialengineering #University #interviews #Jobs # #engineering

Outlook for the Stock Market: VN-Index may face challenges at 1,250 pointsThe VN-Index continued to have a positive trading session with money flowing in various stock groups. The selling pressure was not too strong, helping many stocks to increase well, especially large market capitalization stocks such as “bank, steel”.At the end of the session, VN-Index increased by 13.29 points (+1.09%) to 1,237.46 points, close to the highest price of 1,240.81 points on February 23, 2024.The approaching towards the 1,250 point level made many securities companies predict that the market will have to face the risk of correction, and investors are also advised to trade cautiously and avoid chasing the market. Conversely, some experts still express a positive view on the continued upward trend of the market.SHS Securities short-term evaluation of the market, although recovering, but the VN-Index is approaching the strong resistance level of 1,250 points, so the market will continue to have unpredictable movements in the coming time, with strong resistance level, the market needs to have consolidation and accumulation before breakthrough. Currently, SHS does not highly regard the ability of VN-Index to exceed 1,250 points soon. The company recommends short-term investors not to chase after buying in the rising sessions and can consider gradually taking profits in stocks that have reached the target in the current stage because the risk of the market in short-term decline is high.Similarly, Agibank Securities believes that VN-Index is likely to continue its sideways or downward trend in the short term due to pressure from the important resistance level around 1,240 – 1,250 points; the exchange rate risk still exists and the discrepancy between VN30F1M and VN30 Index futures contracts continues to remain negative. Therefore, investors are recommended to continue reducing the proportion of ownership in rising sessions back to the mentioned resistance level. Only open buying again for stocks in the VN30 group and leading stocks when VN-Index has a correction around the notable support level around 1,200 points.Asean Securities states that the market will continue to maintain a trend towards the 1,240-1,250 point range. However, caution is needed with the risk of profit-taking pressure that can return at any time.AseanSe recommends investors to maintain caution, take advantage of fluctuations to restructure their portfolios, and only buy when the market returns to retest the 1,200-1,220 point area, actions of chasing after buying and aggressively increasing the proportion will no longer be prioritized. The recommended proportion is 60-65% of stocks.Taking a more positive view, Yuanta Securities believes that the market may continue to rise and VN-Index may retest the 1,245 point level in the next session. At the same time, the market is still in a period of strong positive volatility and the decreasing short-term risk shows that the VN-Index ...

One of the best-performing stocks of 2023 has been NVIDA.And I’m relieved to say it’s a stock we bought into in September 2022 -you can’t be in everything but it’s always disappointing not to have a least one star performer. As toy can see from the chart, our entry was a little premature - and prior to the low a few weeks later. But we have taken positions on NVDA many times in the past and it can be a difficult stock to trade based on technical set-ups - as will become apparent later in this post!By October 2022 we began to see signals that a bull market may commence (Dynamic Traders can watch the MaR video on our blog during that period for the reasoning). We had already started to position ourselves accordingly - by continuing to remove stocks no longer suited to our portfolio (going into a new bull market offers new opportunities and we didn’t want to get weighed down with laggards) and tentatively adding new or compound positions. NVDA was a stock we certainly wanted in our book (hence the early buy).Original entry approx: $130Recent add-on approx: $455Current price: $481.11Since our original entry, price has moved up about 270%. In May 2023 there were some signs that the stock was overbought so, while rebalancing our book, we took some profit off the trade. While price did retrace a little, it did not do so enough for us to add back at a lower level. However, after every big move we should expect price to pullback or consolidate - and that is exactly what we are seeing now.Unfortunately, our compound was a little early - at the start of the current consolidation period - so we overpaid slightly (and above our partial profit-taking level). However, all positions are now in profit. With hindsight, there was a good technical set-up to add on the indecision candle on 31 October 2023 - which would’ve been better than our compound.Like I said at the start of the post, NVDA can be tricky! While we believe this stock is over-valued (so too expensive to consider adding further at these levels), we do feel there is more upside on offer. As always, the details of this and all of our trades are shared within our trading community at the time and on the weekly videos at the weekend, so everyone can make their own assessment and decisions.https://lnkd.in/eABbBfVN

What Does Volume Mean In Stocks?Volume is like votes on the price of a stock as each trade is an agreement between a buyer and a seller to exchange shares. The volume is the amount of trades that occur during each time period on a chart. Technical traders look for correlations between price action trends and the increasing and decreasing of volume. Volume is the quantity of stock shares that trades between buyers and sellers over a period of time on a chart. Volume can be measured on any time frame from the one minute, to the hour, or on the daily or weekly chart. Stock trading volume on the daily chart would be the number of shares traded from the open of the day to the close of the day. The volume of trading and the changes to the amount of volume over time, can be important technical inputs for traders.Liquidity can be the most important fundamental for a chart. Without volume making a stock liquid most other technical analysis doesn’t matter. Volume is needed both from buyers and sellers to keep the bid/ask spreads tight for good order fills. A trader wants to focus on active names so they can have speed in the fills for their buy and sell orders. The farther a trader moves from the most active stocks and the major exchanges the slower and wider their fills will become.Volume is what creates technical levels as buyers wait at support levels to buy and sellers wait to distribute at resistance levels on a chart. Downtrends occur when there is a lack of buyers at key price levels so sellers have to go searching lower to exit. Uptrends occur when there is a lack of sellers at higher price levels so buyers have to go searching higher to find sellers willing to exit their shares. Don’t get confused, buyers and sellers are always equal in every trade transaction on a chart, but it is the price that changes on where they agree to let a stock change ownership. Volume is one of the most important technical indicators for analysis because it is used to quantify the strength of a price move. The higher the volume during a swing or trend in price action, the more valid the move is. The lower the volume during a swing or trend in price action, the less valid the move is. Volume can be an indicator of accumulation or distribution on a chart. Uptrends should see rising or steady volume on higher prices to validate the trend with buying pressure pushing prices higher showing accumulation and buying and holding for the stock increasing. Downtrends should see rising volume on lower prices to validate the trend with selling pressure pushing prices lower showing distribution and people exiting a stock. Breakouts from a price range have more validation and meaning when they occur on a higher than average volume. Volume is primarily used to confirm a price move in technical analysis. Traders look for a confluence between higher volume and higher prices and also higher volume and lower prices. etc etc .......

How did the stock market perform after the ‘Black Friday’?Mr. Pham Binh Phuong – an analyst at Mirae Asset Securities – stated that the domestic stock market ended last week with a “black Friday,” as the VN-Index lost most of its gains. Starting the trading week with a 15-point increase, it seemed like the VN-Index would have a favorable week, but unexpected developments emerged at the last minute. After two optimistic sessions, the VN-Index quickly closed at 1,230 points, and selling pressure began to appear at this level in the sessions from February 20th to 22nd.The final session of the week saw significant volatility as the index surged in the morning session, reaching 1,243, but then unexpectedly plummeted in the afternoon session to close the week at 1,212, a slight increase of 2.3 points (0.19%) compared to the previous week’s session. The banking group only has two positions in the top 10 stocks that affect the VN-Index this week, BID and TCB. In the descending session, the top 3 are two other banking stocks, VCB and VPB.Foreign investors maintained a second consecutive week of net selling with a value of 1,456 billion dong. Topping the net selling list this week is MWG, which was sold for nearly 531 billion dong, followed by VPB and GEX at 545 billion dong and 244 billion dong, respectively.Foreign investors continued to be net sellers for a second week in a row (data: VPBankS).“The VN-Index unexpectedly dropped sharply in the final session, but before that, it had a streak of 7 consecutive increases from 1,172 to 1,230. Therefore, market correction is a necessary development to attract outside capital. Buying power has also participated strongly when the market dropped in the session on February 23rd, pushing liquidity to over 30 thousand billion dong, the highest since August 18th, 2023,” Mr. Phuong said and believed that a sharp drop with improved liquidity is not a bad trend in the upward movement. The support level of 1,200 will be crucial in the short term.SHS Securities’ analysis group believes that the volume of more than 1.3 billion shares traded in the final session demonstrates strong short-term distribution pressure on many stocks/stock groups when the VN-Index is in the price range of 1,235 – 1,240 points.Banks are a group of stocks that have a strong impact on the market this week with a high level of differentiation, sudden liquidity attracts short-term capital inflows and increased trading volume, and many stocks continued to increase strongly, surpassing previous peaks such as BID, VAB, and TCB. Meanwhile, most bank stocks declined, such as LPB, HDB, OCB, and EIB.Last week, the market received many news related to the banking group, such as: Credit growth by the end of January 2024 decreased by 0.6% compared to the beginning of 2023; the State Bank of Vietnam will continue to maintain the current interest rate levels at least in the first half of 2024. Notable international news includes the minu...

Stock screeners can help you pick better stocks.I'm not suggesting that you should allow the machine to replace the human when you build your portfolio. Rather stock screeners can save you a lot of time by eliminating things you didn't need to look at.Many financial websites and apps have tools that allow you to screen for stocks based on parameters you put in, The screener will produce a list of all the stocks that meet your parameters. It doesn't tell you whether those stocks are going to rise or fall. That's for you to judge. My favourite stock screeners include:**MarketScreener****SimplyWallSt****Koyfin**All three cover global stocks and have price plans ranging from free to thousands. Below I am going to show you how I used the FREE version of Koyfin to look for a stock to add to my portfolio. I'm looking to spend some euros on a stock which has good growth prospects, but which isn't too expensive as measured in p/e ratio terms. Another important point is that I love dividends. It's what I eat. So ideally I'd like a company which is forecast to grow its dividends. It doesn't have to be a high dividend, but a little something helps. Here are my parameters:Trading Region: Europe (32'739 matches)Primary Security: Yes (9183 matches)Market Cap: Between $10 billion and $20 billion (137 matches)Earnings per share growth forecast: Minimum +10% (54 matches)P/E ratio on forecast earnings: Max 14x (27 matches)Dividend yield indicated: Min 1.5% (20 matches)Compound annual Growth in dividend for the next 2 years: Min 9% (10 matches)PEG ratio: Below 3 (9 matches)Turnover/Revenue growth forecast over next 12 months: Min 10% (7 matches)I now have 7 ahares to look at Swedbank, Svenska Handelsbanken,Erste Group BankJulius Baer GroupTraton SEPrysmain S.p.A.Tenaris S.A.I don't feel comfortable about the solvency of banks due to the rising interest rates, so that just leaves me the last three to look at.I look at their websites, their news flow, their latest results, in partucular I searh for the word "Outlook" and read that section. I re-check the fundamentals using the other two tools I mentioned. I check the chart using TradingView. It's done. I've made my choice.I bought Prysmian S.p.A, - a world leader in the telecom and energy cable systems industry. They have been awarded the Neuconnect contract to design, manufacture, install, test and commission the £2.4bn/€2.8bn 725km interconnector cable between the UK and Germany. This will create the first direct power link between Germany and Great Britain, connecting two of Europe’s largest energy markets allowing up to 1.4GW of electricity to move in either direction, enough to power up to 1.5 million homes. Construction commenced in August 2023 and will continue into 2028. The construction is likely to be high visibility. I'm hoping that it will be the catalyst to drive the p/e ratio higher. This is not an investment recommendation for anyone.
