HUNTERSVILLE – Barbara Gordon McFeely, 86, died Nov. 3, 2019.
She was born Oct. 3, 1933, in Hamilton, Ga., to the late Walter Gordon and Mable Smith Gordon.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Horace F. McFeely.
Survivors include her daughter, Patricia M. Wood, and husband, Ron; and one granddaughter.
Services will be held at a later date.

Dennis Leonard Palmer
HUNTERSVILLE – Dennis Leonard Palmer, 77, died Nov. 2, 2019, in Huntersville.
He was born Sept. 10, 1942, to the late Leonard and Lorraine Palmer.
He was a U.S. Army veteran.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Jeanette Palmer, and sister, Donna Gibbs.
Survivors include his son, Michael Palmer and wife, Susan, of Huntersville; daughter, Tracy Wiese and husband, Steven; daughter, Kelly Beats and husband, Chuck; four grandchildren; and two great grandchildren.
Services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Saturday, Nov. 9, at Raymer-Kepner Funeral Home.

HUNTERSVILLE – Gary Dean Nelson, 51, died Oct. 31, 2019.
He was born Oct. 18, 1968, in Morris County, N.J., to Susan Nelson and the late Ronald Glenn Nelson.
He was the owner of Family Catering Service.
Survivors include his wife, Icilda Martin Nelson; sons, Chad Nelson and wife, Joezy, and Shane Nelson; daughters, Whitney Anthes and husband, Levi, and Mackenzie McFarlain and husband, Graham, all of Huntersville; and brothers, Brad and Glenn Nelson.
Services were held Nov. 4 at Fire Church in Concord.

DAVIDSON – Patricia Ruth Traynor Bond, 86, died Oct. 30, 2019.
She was born March 14, 1933, in Goetzville, Mich.
Survivors include her husband, Ken; children, Karel Lucander and husband, Nils, and Paul Bond and wife, Anne; and two grandchildren.
There will be a viewing at 10 a.m. Friday, Nov. 8, at St. Therese Catholic Church in Mooresville, with a service at 11 a.m. and a luncheon immediately following.

Fredrick Nii Adjei Adjetey
CONCORD – Fredrick Nii Adjei Adjetey, 50, died Oct. 29, 2019, at his home.
He was born June 22, 1969, in Accra, Ghana, to Emmanuel Tetteh and the late Comfort Mensah.
Survivors include his wife, Naa Louisa Adjetey; son, Ian Nii Adjei Adjetey; brothers and sisters, Cassandra Crimpson, Daniel Odoi, Patience Odoi and the Adjetey siblings.
Services will be held at 2 p.m. Nov. 16 at Grace Covenant Church in Cornelius. Burial will be held privately at Northlake Memorial Gardens.

David Lynn Burris
DAVIDSON – David Lynn Burris, 83, died Oct. 26, 2019.
He was born March 15, 1936, in Charlotte to the late Ray Johnson Burris and Pearl Anna Gross Burris.
He was a U.S. Army veteran and worked for Bank of America and its predecessor companies.
He was preceded in death by his brothers, Jack Burris and Sid Burris; and sister, Betty Ray Pender.
Survivors include his wife, Marjorie Carlson Burris; daughters, Amy Shapiro and husband, Samuel, and Johanna Willaford and husband, Lee; and three grandchildren.

She was born March 12, 1934, to the late Banks Wilson Pettus and Lila Dickson Pettus.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Larry Lucian Dulin and a son, John Banks Dulin.

HUNTERSVILLE – Billie Weatherford Julian, 80, died Oct. 24, 2019.
Sher was born Feb. 13, 1939, in Spencer to the late William Jennings and Rebecca Ramsey Weatherford.
She was preceded in death by her husband, George Barrett Julian.
Survivors include her sons, William B. Julian and wife, June, Ronald L. Julian and wife, Teresa, Robert Julian and wife, Teri, and John A. Julian and wife, Angie; sisters Jane, Judy, Marilyn and Kathy; brothers, Steve and Bill; 12 grandchildren; four great-grandchildren.
